A major crude oil import terminal on China's Shandong Province coast. Qingdao handles crude imports for the massive Shandong independent refinery cluster ("teapots") as well as the Qingdao refinery. The port has multiple VLCC-capable berths and serves as a key gateway for Middle Eastern and West African crude entering northern China.
