About Bintulu LNG
One of the world's largest and longest-operating LNG complexes, located at Tanjung Kidurong near Bintulu, Sarawak, on the island of Borneo. PETRONAS LNG Complex (MLNG) comprises three plants — MLNG Satu, Dua, and Tiga — with nine trains and a combined capacity of approximately 29.3 MTPA. Operational since 1983, the complex processes gas from offshore Sarawak fields. Bintulu has long been one of the top three LNG export ports globally, with Japan, South Korea, and China as primary customers. The facility includes eight loading berths and is the backbone of Malaysia's LNG export industry.
