About Yanbu
Saudi Aramco's main Red Sea crude oil export terminal, located on Saudi Arabia's western coast. The terminal handles 760,000–1.5 million b/d of crude, providing an alternative export route bypassing the Strait of Hormuz via the East-West pipeline (Petroline). Yanbu South Terminal has three loading berths capable of accommodating VLCCs up to 500,000 DWT with a maximum sailing draft of 27 metres.
