About Wheatstone LNG
Located near Onslow on the Pilbara coast of Western Australia, Wheatstone is operated by Chevron with a combined capacity of approximately 8.9 MTPA across two trains. The facility processes gas from the offshore Wheatstone and Iago fields via a 225 km subsea pipeline and also feeds domestic gas into the Western Australian market. Wheatstone began production in 2017 and serves long-term customers in Japan, China, and other Asian markets.
