About Tangguh LNG
Located on the Bird's Head Peninsula of Papua, Indonesia, in Bintuni Bay. Operated by BP on behalf of the Tangguh Production Sharing Contract partners, the facility has three trains with a combined capacity of approximately 11.4 MTPA. The third train (Train 3, 3.8 MTPA) came online in 2023 as part of a major expansion. Tangguh processes gas from the Vorwata and Wiriagar fields in Bintuni Bay and exports primarily to Japan, South Korea, and China.
