About Plaquemines LNG
Venture Global's second and larger LNG facility, under construction in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, approximately 30 miles south of New Orleans on the Mississippi River. The project features the same mid-scale modular design as Calcasieu Pass, with a planned capacity of approximately 20 MTPA across two phases. Its Mississippi River location provides excellent deep-water access and is closer to gas pipeline infrastructure than many Gulf Coast competitors.
