About Oman LNG / Qalhat

Located at Qalhat near Sur on Oman's eastern coast. The complex consists of two adjacent facilities: Oman LNG (2 trains, 7.1 MTPA, operational since 2000) and Qalhat LNG (1 train, 3.7 MTPA, operational since 2006), for a combined capacity of approximately 10.8 MTPA. The government of Oman holds majority stakes in both entities. Gas is sourced from central Oman's fields and transported via pipeline. The terminal primarily serves Asian markets, with long-term contracts to Japan, South Korea, and India.
