About Nigeria LNG / Bonny
Located on Bonny Island in the Niger Delta, Nigeria LNG (NLNG) is Africa's largest LNG export facility. The plant has six trains with a combined capacity of approximately 22 MTPA, with Train 7 (additional 8 MTPA) under construction. NLNG is a joint venture between NNPC (49%), Shell (25.6%), TotalEnergies (15%), and Eni (10.4%). The facility has been operating since 1999 and exports to Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Bonny Island also hosts major crude oil export infrastructure, making it one of Nigeria's most critical energy hubs.
