About Fos Cavaou LNG

France's largest and most modern LNG import terminal, operational since 2010 at Fos-sur-Mer near Marseille on the Mediterranean coast. With a send-out capacity of 8.25 bcm/year, Fos Cavaou is a key entry point for LNG into the French and European gas grid. It has seen significantly increased utilization since 2022 as Europe diversified away from Russian pipeline gas.
