About Ceyhan (BTC Terminal)
Turkey's main crude oil export terminal on the Mediterranean coast. The terminus of both the BTC (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan) pipeline carrying Azeri crude and the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline carrying Iraqi crude. Combined throughput can exceed 1.5 million bpd, making Ceyhan one of the most important oil terminals in the Mediterranean.
