About Atlantic LNG
Located at Point Fortin on the southwestern coast of Trinidad and Tobago. The facility has four trains with a combined capacity of approximately 15 MTPA, though Train 1 (3 MTPA) has been permanently shut down due to depletion of its dedicated gas supply. Atlantic LNG is a joint venture involving Shell, BP, and NGC (National Gas Company of Trinidad). The remaining three trains process gas from offshore fields east of Trinidad and export primarily to the US, Europe, and Latin America.
