One of the largest oil product transhipment terminals in Europe, located on Latvia's Baltic Sea coast. Operated by Vitol Terminal Latvia (VTL, formerly Ventspils Nafta), the terminal has a total storage capacity of 1.2 million cubic metres across 105 tanks. Annual throughput capacity reaches 30 million tonnes. Historically a major transit point for Russian crude and refined products heading to European and global markets.
