Klaipeda FSRU

Lithuania's FSRU-based LNG import terminal, named "Independence," located in the port of Klaipeda on the Baltic Sea. Operational since 2014, it was the first LNG terminal in the Baltic States. Send-out capacity of approximately 4 bcm/year. The terminal was deployed as a strategic independence measure to reduce Lithuania's total dependence on Russian pipeline gas.
