India's second major LNG import terminal, located at Hazira in Gujarat near Surat. Originally developed by Shell and TotalEnergies, the terminal has a regasification capacity of approximately 5 MTPA. Hazira serves the industrial demand of Gujarat's chemical and fertilizer industries and is connected to the HVJ pipeline network. The terminal competes with the larger Dahej facility for Gujarat's LNG import market.
