Brazil's main LNG import terminal, using an FSRU moored in Guanabara Bay near Rio de Janeiro. Used to supplement domestic gas supply during high-demand periods and hydropower shortages. Brazil has multiple FSRU locations but Guanabara Bay is the most frequently utilized.
