Kazakhstan's largest Caspian Sea port, located in Mangystau Region on the eastern shore. Serves as a key hub for the Trans-Caspian oil export route (Middle Corridor), with four oil terminals handling crude shipments across the Caspian to Baku and beyond. Annual throughput capacity is approximately 1.5 million tonnes, with expansion plans under the 'Sarzha' project targeting 6 million tonnes.
